its first book which contains more than sixty photographs selected
from a rare publication issued in the 1920s by the firm of Walter
Macfarlane & Co, together with a comprehensive history of the
company and of the Macfarlane family. |

The legacy of Scottish ornamental cast ironwork in our towns is an important part of our industrial heritage and is often undervalued or not fully appreciated. The Scottish Ironwork Foundation is a collection of people passionate about architectural ironwork. We come from a variety of backgrounds and bring different skills to the Foundation. In May 2006 a new Management Committee was formed. |
